Site Update 04

So today i’ve tested a few themes and i’ve ended with this one from digitalnature. Pretty slick, where i can change to 3 or 2 columns if i want to. The sidebar can be switched to left or right according to your taste.

I think im gonna go on tweeking this theme for a few more days. One of them ought to be the fonts used. It just feels bulky.

Spring & Summer Fashion Show 2009

The event was held at spring during the weekend. I went to their night session on friday. We got in registered as bloger’s and got the VIP pass. It was hip!

I didn’t have any speedlight with me so the results are grainy due to high ISO setting.  There are heads popping and extra head rooms in some pics which was unavoidable due to the position of the photographer’s stand that the organizer provided. I believed the front part of the stage should really be empty cos that’s the area to get great shot of the models posed for the camera. Sighs….

Edited some pics with cross processing filter.

Tilt Shift Photography

For most of us growing up playing Legos and miniature playing toys, it’s sometime intriguing if it’s posible for us to build our whole neighbourhood into miniature parts and play SUPER doll house. Yeah like Ultramen films where he ‘accidentaly’ crush and blows building around him (Guy version of playing dollhouse :p).

So for those who can’t afford the budget or time to make a full miniature scale of your town area,  photoshop has the answer!! <<lolz.

To start of about tilt shift, everybody should start with wiki!! here >>>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tilt-shift_photography. There’s tons of information there but I like everyone to skip to the part about MINIATURE FAKING.  What is miniature faking? see this flickr group pool for Tilt-shift Miniature Fakes.

If you’re interested then….Since a real tilt shift requires you to have expensive photo equipments, to do this in some what cheaper way with photoshop. Read this Tilt Shift Photography Photoshop Tutorial. Yeah i’m lazy to do my own tutorial…..it’s for introduction sake….Any questions? Ask away….

It’s Done, it’s done

For the past few weeks I’ve been ask to update on my previous website work. Have a look:

Each of these uses different engine and coding. This  particular reason made the updating somewhat difficult for me as I have to revise the rusty coding section in my brain. Especially for hikmah, i think i have to decide and confront them that they need to find someone else to do the updating job from now on. The bureaucracy system they use really doesn’t mix well with my way of working.

Riseap’s page is my first ever full wordpress theme redesigned. The previous riseap page is coded in static html and flash, a horrible nightmare to update IMHO. Using the previous theme i manage to make it look almost the same. It’s a first, so there’s some more minor touches here and there need to be done. Please comment if any. :-)

Urethane is a company making mattresses and pillows. I mention about this job in previous post. It turns out quite well. A full flash web albeit some usability disagreement.
